Alone, surrounded by wild nature, ROBERTA is the last Italian cowgirl.  An archaic and purely male profession, inherited from her father who passed away too early. Galloping through endless valleys, Roberta leads her herd of long-horned cows to the wild. A hard life that nobody wants to do anymore. At the mercy of nature and animals, archaic forces that do not bow to Roberta's will, any unexpected event can put her activity and life in crisis. But Roberta is stubborn. And when that world rebels against her and her mother goes against her, she will have to make a choice. Will she be able to defend her wild freedom or will she have to give up everything?
